Our History of Growth and Excellence

Founded in 1988 in Port Kells, Surrey, Profab Steel initially manufactured sawmill equipment before transitioning to structural steel. We relocated to Langley in the early 1990s to accommodate growth and, in 1998, became Profab Steel (1998) Ltd., focusing on industrial and commercial construction. As demand increased, we moved to a custom-built facility in Surrey’s Campbell Heights in 2011, and in 2016 we added structural engineering and construction services to our profile.

In 2020 we moved to an even larger facility to handle higher volumes, as well as more complex projects, and in 2023 we officially launched our sister company, New Age Engineering Ltd. This strategic move enables us to offer integrated design/build services, including in-house structural engineering, detailing, and drafting. As a result, we are uniquely positioned as a complete service facility for all structural steel requirements, streamlining the process for our clients from concept to completion.
